Business development in Dachau: Insights into high-tech companies

Deml was impressed by the work of the MicroNova team: Innovative test solutions for the automotive industry, software for configuring mobile networks as well as a comprehensive range of digitalization and high-tech consulting services ... the company has a total of 400 employees, and a large proportion of them work in the district of Dachau. Even though the company's legal domicile has been in the neighboring district of Jetzendorf since it was founded, the Vierkirchen site is the center of the MicroNova universe. Accordingly, the company is deeply rooted in the district of Dachau.
Katja Deml and District Administrator Stefan Löwl were able to see this for themselves on site together with the Mayor of Vierkirchen, Harald Dirlenbach. CEO Orazio Ragonesi explained: “A considerable proportion of our employees come from the district, and a great deal of work is done here.” In addition, the company is already heavily involved locally, for example by supporting the start-up center and the MINT campus. Ragonesi promised to keep it that way. In addition, MicroNova is also doing a lot to get involved socially and ecologically - from the robotics group at Markt Indersdorf secondary school to the sustainably designed building complex.
“It took a while because, fortunately, there are a lot of successful companies in the district of Dachau - but I was impressed by the innovative strength I saw during my first visit to MicroNova,” said Deml. “I am glad that the company identifies so strongly with our home region.” District Administrator Stefan Löwl added: “We do a lot to be a good home district for companies. It's great to see when something so big can be created on this basis. We are happy to continue to play our part.”
