Measuring and control board for versatile deployment

This top-hat rail module is a measuring and control board for versatile deployment. Four configurable PWM output ports can be used, for example, to control motor or sensor simulations. In addition, two analog ports can also output voltages of up to 20 V with 16-bit resolution. A total of eight digital and four analog input ports with optical isolation are available. All input ports are protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD), and all output ports are resistant to short-circuit. Connection to the system is effected via a CAN interface (high-speed CAN) with addressing configured by rotary switch. Furthermore, the module’s software permits calibration and a self-test. The top-hat rail module comes with push-in plug connectors, allowing it to be wired up easily without any tool required. Two plug connectors for CAN interfaces offer the possibility of cascading, as well.
